Miyun is one of the main producing districts of Yanshan chestnut, and is the large chestnut county of Beijing outskirt. The planting area of chestnut has reached 300,000 mu, holding a half of Beijing chestnuts planting area of 620,000 mu. Miyun chestnuts are mainly dispersed over 10 towns of the eastern, the western and the northern banks of Miyun Reservoir, and it has formed a chestnut industrial belt. Now, an area of 120 mu in Miyun Economic Development Area is used to build a chestnut deep-processing base. According to our analysis of chestnut deep-processing market, we estimate that this base needs a total investment of RMB 250 million yuan, including the fixed capital investment of RMB 175 million yuan and the flowing capital of RMB 75 million yuan. The investment returning period is about 3 years. |
