1、Financial Insurance
There are many financial service institutions in the development area, such as Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agriculture Bank, Construction Bank and so on. Every financial institution has basically realized the deposit network, deposit and exchange in different banks, accounts settlement from other places through the satellite, and networking of urban and rural services, and also start international foreign exchange business. The zone has a group of abundant-experience and professional talents to provide the services for enterprises. In addition, the foreign enterprises, after registering in the department of industry and commerce, should choose a bank to open an account of foreign exchange fund and basic account of RMB. Besides, there are many insurance institutions in the zone, such as People’s Insurance Company of China (PICC), Ping’an Insurance Company of China and Social Labor Insurance Company, which provide all kinds of insurance business for enterprises and individuals.
2、Human Resources
There are a large number of high-quality professional and technical talents in Miyun and training schools of Labor Bureau which can promptly provide technical persons needed by the enterprises. Miyun possesses 18 high colleges and various professional technique training schools which provide nearly 10,000 professional and technical persons for the enterprises every year. Beijing Miyun Economic Development Area (BMEDA), as “a Hi-tech base for Chinese Colleges and Universities” approved by Ministry of Education, has scientific research institutes and production bases of about 20 universities all over the whole nation, which also shows an evident advantage of scientific research and human resources. In addition, BMEDA, as a radiant park of Zhongguancun, to a great extent, has fulfilled the human resources sharing with Zhongguancun.
3、Labor Cost
The labor payment is not below the local payment standard and the average payment standard is about 100 dollars/month. The enterprises employ the workers by themselves. If the local labor cannot meet enterprises’ needs, they can apply for recruiting workers from other places. For those employed workers, the employing probation period is 3 to 6 months and the payment in the period will be decided by enterprises. After formal employment, it will be put on record and should go through some formalities, such as old-age pension, housing accumulation fund and unemployed relief fund, etc.
4、Living Environment
The auxiliary service district explored by Real Estate Company of BMETZ is beginning to take shape. This district is distributed reasonably according to the layout of villa district, apartment district for senior managers and living district for employers.

6、Medical Treatment
In the development area, there is Beijing Cerebral Vessel Disease Hospital with advanced medical facilities, which is near Hospital of Miyun County, Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Miyun County and Binhe Hospital. 7、Transportation
The development area is next to 101 national highway and the exit of the zone is set up on Beijing-Chengde Expressway. It is 40 m from the capital airport, 160 m from Tanggu port of Tianjin and 3 m from Miyun Railway Station, Tongjunzhuang Railway Station and Xiaotangzhuang Railway Station. The convenient traffic will also provide passenger-cargo transport in all directions for enterprises in the zone.
8、Entertainment
Picturesque Miyun Reservoir is located in the northeast of the development area; well-known Heilong Pool and the First Waterfall of Beijing are in the northwest; and the modern Nanshan Skiing Rink in the southeast has become a new entertainment place in North China region. The hotel of the development area is a comprehensive and superior hotel which integrates entertainment, accommodation and dining. Besides, the development area is next to many scenic spots such as four-star Yunhu Holiday Resort and Yunfo Holiday Resort. So many entertainment facilities provide an ideal place of living and entertaining for the introduced enterprises. Furthermore, in the zone, there are large-scale entertainment center, supermarket, bathing center and dining center, which offer all-round service for the introduced enterprises. |
